Liver Disease
Liver disease in cats is an extremely complex issue with many different causes.
Many of the liver functions are comparable to those of other internal organs, and the symptoms of liver disease may be similar to those of other organ diseases.
Some disorders, such as leukaemia, diabetes, and feline immunodeficiency virus, can harm the liver but are not classified as liver diseases.
Your cat's liver illness symptoms could be the result of an existing infection or parasites.
This is why, when a cat exhibits certain symptoms, a vet may need to perform multiple tests to discover the exact cause of the illness.
The signs and symptoms of liver disease include loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, excessive salivation, loss of weight, depression or lethargy that worsens with time, swollen belly, and excessively dark or orange urine.
