Kidney Disease
Canines, like us, can suffer from kidney disease.
Various factors can cause kidney illness in dogs, and by the time your dog starts to display symptoms, the original cause may have vanished.
Renal birth abnormalities, immune system illnesses, cancer, and acute kidney disease are possible causes (usually caused by poisoning).
Elderly dogs are also more vulnerable.
When the problem isn't severe, the disease will manifest itself as typical kidney functions slowing and malfunctioning.
Changes in drinking and urination volume, weight loss, loss of appetite, sadness, and sometimes vomiting are among symptoms to watch for.
Unfortunately, kidney disease is almost always incurable.
Nevertheless, you can use medication and certain vet-recommended foods to help delay the advancement of the disease, allowing your dog to live happily for years after being diagnosed.
